I actually try to exercise tact in most situations and often hold my tongue. But it is precisely because of that that I have the same basic answer as you. I do not think my relationships would change much at all because the files would be fairly empty. Comments made about people while not in their presence would most likely be things they themselves would agree with.

Probably some old fraternity brothers would be hit the hardest. But that's mainly because they're assholes who take everything personally and think everyone should acknowledge their existence anytime they walk in the room. I've said some pretty mean shit about some of those guys. I wouldn't care if our relationship was damaged because there wasn't much of one to begin with. I'd be okay if I never saw them or talked to them again.
I can't really say how my relationship with close family or friends would be damaged much because I feel like the negative stuff I talk about behind their backs, I'd have no problem saying to their faces, most of the time.

I think the better question is: How long do you have to live?
The grumpy old lady I work with sometimes would know I think she's a grumpy old lady. Other than that, I think everyone knows where they stand with me.

Oh man.... Luckily me and Dad don't have a great relationship to begin with.

They would be surprised at how little I actually talk to humans

I'm suddenly in need of new friends and family.
