Um...good?
The monthly labour force survey shows that Alberta's job growth has been largely flat this year, jobs that have been lost in the natural resource sector seem to have been created elsewhere.
Ah, yes, definitely good. I mean, in sorry for people losing jobs, but that's an industry I'd love to see fade away and disappear. It's 2015, maybe move towards renewables?

Look, I don't like Harper at all but this Blame Harper noise is becoming the new Thanks Obama. Can't blame everything on Harper. This is what happens with jobs based on resources.

And I don't think they'll be back soon either, unfortunately. KSA and Iran are going to keep pumping at full bore for a couple of years at least before they decide to bring the price back up to where Alberta can make a dime. EI's going to take a hit let's hope Harper left some money in there for our now-idle oil workers. Maybe we can get some infrastructure projects going to while away the doldrums
