X-Files. The chemistry that David and Gillian had on screen was amazing.

I'm cautiously optimistic, too. I liked the last movie, I Want To Believe. But, knowing how the series ended, it makes me question how they will pick it back up.

As a kid this show brought me so much joy. I also remember my grandfather who had fought in the Pacific during World War II was pissed that I was such a fan of a "Jap" TV show.

Boardwalk Empire, though they ended the last season abruptly. Great settings and characters.
For a cartoon, I would say Aqua Teen Hunger Force. It was just so bizarre. It did bother me how much I related to all of the characters though.

Stargate SG-1 I really like how they mix Nerdy stuff with Action, and the secrecy behind being a US soldier, and how scientists can be badasses.

Moffat's writing reminds me too much of 80s Who.

Breaking Bad. Amazing TV from beginning to end.

I came to Breaking Bad late, so I had the joy of watching every season back-to-back.
I could not imagine having to wait at least a year in between to find out what happened next season.
