I typically think in english but sometimes slip into French or Spanish without realizing it. It mostly happens after I've watched or read something in that language.

The one I have the switch turned to. It takes a minimum amount of effort to switch languages, but it's enough to tire you if you speak one and think another one.

The same language i'm using to communicate at that particular time. For example when i'm in school or at work i think in finnish as i use it to talk. When i'm with my swedish relatives i quickly switch my head to swedish and when i'm gaming and on teamspeak it's all english up there(like right now). I never really notice it as it's an autonomous task, but when i switch languages i do sometimes notice the two meshing inside the head.

My native language is dutch, but I'd say about a third of the time I think in english. Especially when I am doing math, working on my computer or daydream.

I think in the language that I'm currently using. If I'm talking to people in German, then my thoughts are German. If I talk to Americans, my thoughts are in English. My thoughts also change to whichever language that I'm currently reading, so for example on voat, my thoughts are in English and if I read a German news site they switch to German.
I still remember when I learned my third language, French, in the beginning it felt like I was thinking like a translator; thinking in English or German and then translating words to French, but once I started getting better at the language, I actually started thinking in French.

I worked with a Brazilian woman who said that her internal monologue switched completely to English after 10 years of living in he US.

Portuguese is my mother language. I do think in English from time to time, specially when I read something in English or think about something I read or communicated in English.
