Depends on the day tbh. Most everyone is a troll at some point.

There's no such thing as a 'troll.' A troll is a misnomer for a person who isn't getting their needs met. Once you're able to meet the needs of that person, the 'trolling' stops. Contrary to the popular misconception, people don't troll just for the hell of it. They troll as a way of letting you know they're deprived of meaningful relationships.
People use the term "troll" the same way they use the term "spam". It's a dismissive demonizing tactic designed to silence the messenger so you don't have to be accountable to the message. If the person is characterized as a 'troll' instead of a human being with valid thoughts, then it's easy to dismiss whatever they say without having to defend your own point of view. It's a common tactic employed by most insecure faggot keyboard warriors on here and on reddit.

Trolling is relative and based on your own perspective. Redditors think Voater are trolls, and Voaters think SJWs are trolls. If I questioned Donald Trump in the dozens of Donald Trump circlejerk threads on Voat, I'd be considered a troll.

Trolling certainly used to mean something different to what it has come to mean. It didn't even need to be provocative originally, it was more about baiting someone into responding to something absurd as though it was genuine. Those are still the best trolls in my experience, because they take more ingenuity and even the victim can laugh at it afterwards. My friend and I were notorious for trolling our bosses / senior management many years ago - it got to the point that whenever anything slightly awry occurred, we heard our names shouted across the office.

Okay, then I'll have to consider myself a troll on occasion. I confess to dropping a few zingers just to rattle the cage. ;) I do it for very serious, preachy threads (commonly referred to as circlejerks). Sometimes, when everyone is all serious with mean scowls on their faces, you just have to stand in the middle of the room, let out a big fart,a dn rhetorically say "Who fartd?"

I live under a bridge, so I guess so.

I'm not a troll, just your usual asshole that resides on the internet.
