I have a Kindle. I wanted to read the Song of Ice and Fire series, but the books were too expensive here and the fifth one wasn't translated yet. The translated versions suck, anyways, so I got myself a Kindle (which was cheaper that four books) and I pirated the damn things. I'm not sorry. The last two were shit, anyway. They were not worth the money.

I don't - I went through a phase of thinking about getting one but I enjoy going to the library and browsing the shelves. I also enjoy the way the books are different; they have different hefts, page weights, fonts, margins, etc. You'd get the same experience every time with an e-reader.
I've looked at people reading them and it seems to me there's too little text per-page- it just doesn't seem it would 'feel' right to have so little text available at once.

I have a Kindle Paperwhite and a Nook Tablet. By far, hands down, the paperwhite is far superior if you are, in fact, getting a device for reading. The nook is terrible, you might as well just pull up an ebook on your desktop/laptop.
I have a kindle that I only use while on breaks while at work. Otherwise, I actually enjoy reading a real-life book instead. For me a hard copy is how I grew up reading books and it feels most comfortable while lounging around on the sofa and reading. A tablet, like a kindle or ipad just seems like I need to be out and about somewhere to read. Purely psychological I know.

I have a Nook Glowlight. I travel a lot, and this allows me to carry plenty of reading materials along. I was not a fan of e-readers for a long time and just carried several books along.
Then I had to go in to Afghanistan and wanted to travel as light as possible. Once I got used to it, I loved the convenience of having an entire library in my cargo pocket.
