If an employee of a company breaks the NDA, there will be consequences. It doesn't matter if that company is Nintendo or anyone else. You signed a contract, you are expected to obey that contract.

he deserved to be fired. I guarantee he signed something saying he couldn't go do what he did and he is not one of the companies voices so even if what he said were true (which it was) he breached his contract and was not under wrongful termination. Nintendo is very explicit with what their employees can and cant do on social media and the internet in general when it I seen by the public
