Well, I would think it should be for defaults instead. The subs that represent Voat. Other subs, should not.

Term limits just encourages alts, run by the same cabal.

The real issue is off site discussions involving the management of a verse.

No mod team should be discussing the running of a verse off site, but fixing this does make me fear for the nightmare that is the wikipedia system that devolves into semantics and 'wikilawyering'.

Perma bans should be in place for anyone abusing authority.
If you seek authority it must be to contribute to the good of the group. Any efforts to gain control on behalf of a cabal that can be demonstrated to have intentions against the verse ideal should be banned.
eg; FatAcceptance mods taking over FPH is clearly against the ideals, and vice versa, FPH mods should no be able to orchestrate a take over of a fat positive verse.

All default subs should have strict public only logs involving all mod applications and removals.
The use of offsite IRC to conduct interviews for modship is odious at best.
