My favourite part of that gif is how they keep introducing new fucking colours to describe the tsunami of yeasty fats.

Try my version of barf - Vomit. Vomit. Vomit. You'll feel better just getting it out there.

It's actually where they go and lay their eggs to hatch into big baby fatties.

...how is fat getting into a sewer? Like, pure fat.

Cook up a couple pounds of bacon, and then wash it all down the drain. Brown some ground beef, wash the fat down the drain. That's my guess. People just wash their cooking fats away.

OK, that makes more sense. I couldn't think of any real reason beyond someone somehow shitting out pure adipose.

My step daughter did that a while ago, clogged up the sink. Had to take the s-bend apart and unblock it with a wire. I was mad.

I think it might be a more appreciable word than human waste?

identified as an appropriate source of fuel

At first I wondered who the fuck thought to burn it.

It's actually been something practised for a while.

Take forest waste (foliage, branches, plant matter) is put into a digester where bacteria decomposes it releasing methane, a hydro-carbon similar to petrol/fuel but not as dense in hydrogen-oxygen combinations. This is considered as a Brown Renewable Energy as you're still releasing carbon into the air whilst generating. (Wind turbines are a green renewable energy!)

I followed the link to biogas and read up, but I was remembering the smell of burn pits.

I'm afraid this isn't a new expression. I introduced it atleast a month ago.

I linked a news article about a Fatberg the size of a bus in Welsh sewers
