It's actually been something practised for a while.
Take forest waste (foliage, branches, plant matter) is put into a digester where bacteria decomposes it releasing methane, a hydro-carbon similar to petrol/fuel but not as dense in hydrogen-oxygen combinations. This is considered as a Brown Renewable Energy as you're still releasing carbon into the air whilst generating. (Wind turbines are a green renewable energy!)

Cook up a couple pounds of bacon, and then wash it all down the drain. Brown some ground beef, wash the fat down the drain. That's my guess. People just wash their cooking fats away.

My step daughter did that a while ago, clogged up the sink. Had to take the s-bend apart and unblock it with a wire. I was mad.
