Turok 2 was my first FPS when I was 8 years old and it was too challenging. Thank goodness for BEWAREOBLIVIONISATHAND.

Am I weird for wanting Turok Evolution? I know it's probably the Nostalgia talking but I can't help but remember that game as exceedingly fun. Especially the Poison Arrows and the Mini Missile thing.

This is from the same company that worked on the release of System Shock 2, heres hoping they can retain the same levels of moddability that System Shock 2 has.

That site is hell for NoScript users.

Allowing flashinfonaut, and cloudfront, spawned about a dozen more scripts.

I can only hope that if they do work on the PC versions, they add FOV sliders or something, because the copy of Turok2 that I have has what feels like a 30-degree FOV...

Turok 2's biggest problem on the '64 was its framerate, which won't be a problem on a modern PC. Color me excited.

You're right. FOV and multi-core support are going to be the biggest problems on PC, unless they're tweaking the hell outta them for the re-release.

I can't imagine a broken release would be good for business, especially with it having been almost twenty years since these games were on shelves. If they don't run, those new Steam refunds are getting a workout.

Sounds good to me. I know they haven't aged well but they don't always need to. Sometimes an old, familiar game can be the digital version of video game comfort food.

The Cerebral Bore was my favorite weapon by miles. Funny as hell.
