That site is hell for NoScript users.
Allowing flashinfonaut, and cloudfront, spawned about a dozen more scripts.

Umm... are there enough people who'd buy those bad games? Turok was a console launch title ffs!

Newell himself stated in 2012 that Portal 2 had shipped more than 4m units. Why does it even matter how much a game ships? If 1.7m of those 1.8m are unhappy, it doesn't tell you anything. Most people bought it because it looked cool and was a launch game. No one I know - and I mean that literally - had Turok for PC. People were talking so little about it that I didn't even know it was released for PC, and the guys didn't even bother to download it. We were playing the fuck out of Fallout, Blood, Diablo: Hellfire, Ultima Online, 688, Dungeon Keeper, Carmageddon, Age of Empires, Symphony of the Night, Goldeneye, Monkey Island 3, Pax Imperia, Hexen 2, I-War, Imperialism, Interstate 76, MDK, Longbow 2, Myth, Redneck Rampage, Lands of Lore, The Last Express, Jedi Knight, Starfleet Academy, X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter, Total Annihilation, Tomb Raider 2 and Wing Commander 5 in 1997... man, I'm not surprised no one I know gave a shit about Turok. And it was released in November for PC, which is very close to 1998. And I don't need to tell you about the year 1998 in video games, do I?

Am I weird for wanting Turok Evolution? I know it's probably the Nostalgia talking but I can't help but remember that game as exceedingly fun. Especially the Poison Arrows and the Mini Missile thing.

I can only hope that if they do work on the PC versions, they add FOV sliders or something, because the copy of Turok2 that I have has what feels like a 30-degree FOV...

Turok 2's biggest problem on the '64 was its framerate, which won't be a problem on a modern PC. Color me excited.

You're right. FOV and multi-core support are going to be the biggest problems on PC, unless they're tweaking the hell outta them for the re-release.

I can't imagine a broken release would be good for business, especially with it having been almost twenty years since these games were on shelves. If they don't run, those new Steam refunds are getting a workout.

Turok 2 was my first FPS when I was 8 years old and it was too challenging. Thank goodness for BEWAREOBLIVIONISATHAND.
