The majority of people are on a perm bulk now. I've got skinny coworkers turning into fat people right before my eyes. Its like a cruel magic trick.

Most of America is on a dirty bulk sadly, so they'll flock to places like that. Once you hit your dream body go in there wearing as little as possible and enjoy the angry stares.

I got tired of clean bulking and went full vacuum cleaner last time. I only gained about 8 pounds in 3 months. Now I'm trimming and trying to see how much of it was muscle.
You have to get used to it, and maybe you will eventually. I did a 6-pound trim before my bulk, and that made it much easier to gain weight back. Yes these are small numbers, but it was only an experiment in the first place.
Otherwise, I'm going to stick to a slow bulk (roughly 1.5 pounds per month, to match muscle growth) once I get my abs back.
I plan to start with 5 Guys. I just wish they had less sodium.

Yeah that makes sense. I know a lot of people bulk well that way.
I kinda went through a mid mid life crisis and I find eating healthier makes me feel better. Working out makes me feel better. So that's kinda why I started and why I am sticking to it.
I do it more for me to feel happy/confident as opposed to gaining muscle. But ofcourse muscle gain is also a goal.
