Ok, can we just agree that something smells in Denmark? Despite all the reassurances that this isn't widespread, isn't happening, never has never will, we have a multitude of videos that clearly demonstrate the need for an internal and external investigation. After all, tax dollars are going here, and we need to know what those dollars are doing, or if they are just lining someone else's pockets.

There were a few compelling quotations in that video. Also some editing that seemed suspicious.

Would any of this matter if the women who've had the abortions consent to the remains being used? I don't see a problem with it other than people personalizing fetuses and recoiling in horror at the idea of their parts being put to good use.

If you kill an animal, you should use 100% of that animal. What do you want to be done with a fetus? At least feed it to the dog. Jesus Christ, guy! Have some common sense.

PP is 97% STD testing/treatment, birth control, cancer screening and counseling, The 3% that deals with abortion is funded entirely by donations.
It's not violating Federal law, fetal tissue has been used for medical research since the early 1900s. It is entirely legal.
Seems pretty productive that no one is getting measles or chicken pox anymore.
How come you're not trying to shut down the hospitals or research parks then?
It doesn't. The National Institutes of Health (A federal organization) does a lot of medical research that utilizes fetal tissue, and PP is one of the providers.
They don't profit from it. The law allows for reasonable prices to cover storage/transportation/administration fees. Think logically for a second about the prices discussed: 30-100 dollars. Doesn't exactly seem like a lucrative enterprise.

I understand the complexity of the issue in regards to people that have a moral objection to abortion, not wishing to subsidize PP. Anyone who views the fetuses with any degree of personalization, is unlikely to be nonchalant about the idea of selling their parts. The other side of the fence of course are people like myself who don't view a fetus as a person, thus don't view the tissue use as being under the guidelines of human organ trafficking.
To my way of thinking it would be not disimilar to having a growth removed and the surgeon telling you that they'd like to use it/sell it on to some research facility. Go for it. It was only going to be incinerated anyhow, so at least someone is getting some use out of it. In this instance the bonus is that selling on the fetus tissue helps PP's funding, so again - IMHO that's going to a worthy cause. It's a win-win.
On this issue, you and I are coming from a very different view point. I am actually very happy to see any and all fetal tissue, go to any sort of research that it would be useful in. I couldn't be more detached emotionally from it. I've had an abortion (not with PP - they don't have them where I'm from) and I would have gleefully agreed to the clinic selling the tissue for its own profit. Not even the slightest hesitation in that regard. I very much want to see abortion clinics fully funded and available to every woman. I also want to see fetal tissue being used as often as possible to advance research.
