indigo blues have been washed away
the sun is gone, the sky is grey
they poison your mind, they poison your drink
your life washes away right down the sink
you don't pull the trigger, you don't hide in the sand
but when you look down, there's blood on your hands
like paying a hitman the evil you do, its all coming down, you can't handle the truth
your living your life, its slipping away, you're gonna fall down, your going to pay
unless you rise
come on,come on
wake up and rise
let me see you rise
the things you do, it all comes back to you
your leaving today, away on a train
your going to go, no one knows your name
you'll find the answer to the question
you'll know the truth
let me see you rise

Maybe it's cliche, I'm not sure, but growing up and finding Dark Side of The Moon in your father's record collection really leaves a profound impact on your life with songs like Time:
Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
Fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
Music is fun to listen to but it's obviously best when it actually speaks to you.
