Just a few seconds ago. I think people still use hand writing to communicate with themselves in the form of notes and lists, but communicating with others has moved mostly to digital communication.

Some things are easier up on a board or, I prefer, graph paper. But, given that you're still doing it by hand and head, you still in academia? I kind of expected to remain in academia and ended up modeling traffic instead. I am happily retired now, I have been for almost eight years. What field are you in, if you don't mind my asking?

I'm in Theoretical Computer Science, specifically Computational Geometry, PhD.
I did a bit of Software Engineering in the past, for a company, but even then I would always scribble on paper to map out the design before I would write a program.
