Betrayal At House On The Hill. You explore a randomly-organized haunted house (you flip cards for the rooms) and take part in random events for items. After a while, the game changes and you have to do one of 50 different scenarios, all of which are brought about by different circumstances. It's awesome because it's different every time.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't call DnD a board game - it is tabletop RPG. Carcassonne rocks though.
