It's not a competition, but were winning.

Also: Talking shit about your competition is a sign of weakness and jealousy.

You realize you're making that statement in a subverse that its entire point is to talk about the other site right?

People who are okay with blocking words they don't want to read should probably stay at the kids table.

Frankly, I'm fully comfortable if the voat community stays on the smaller side like it is now for the most part. I don't want the same people on reddit just coming to voat and making it the same. I'd rather have two distinct platforms be available. I currently use reddit more than I'd like to (some of the smaller subreddits are actually pretty good), but voat to me still seems like a great alternative, regardless of size. Over time if the voat community stays stable hopefully we will see more and more original content, but for now I'm content with the quality of the community and the level of the discussions here at voat.

The SRS brigading is apparently in full effect, a lot of people are just getting downvoated now. This place has turned to shit? Not bloody likely. If any of the fringe groups try and post shit in the defaults, they get their crap deleted. Those cucks are so brainwashed that it's beyond pathetic at this point.

Are you talking about Voat or Reddit?

There's a difference here. On Reddit, you can't run a fringe group now, because you'll be "quarantined" which is a fancy word for being discriminated against because of your opinion. On Voat, you can run any sub you want, with the same rights as anyone else, without having to abide by special rules. (as long as it's legal in the US) In both sites, there's the healthy rule that if you post your fringe crap into the wrong default, it'll get removed, that simple. Reddit on the other hand, has gone way beyond that since now you can be banned in some subreddits for merely posting in a non-sanctioned other sub.

Voat though, has had some subs allow controversial content sometimes, which gets a lot of oversensitive nannies yelling that we're a racist/ misogynist (never misandrist!) conspiracy nut site. I'm happy with that label though, because if it keeps all the fucking soccer moms over at Reddit, where they can post their forwards from grandma, that works a site wide quarantine system. The longer Reddit stays as a catch all for all the authoritarian slacktivists, the better. When people here say they're looking forward to Reddits demise, I just want to give them a slap in the face and tell them to shut the fuck up.

Not in /v/news they don't.

They have flairs apparently, intriguing solution to the problem.

I keep saying it, the people complaining are the people who contribute nothing and then complain about the quality of the content, pretty sure most of them are SRS, etc. Also, a lot of the racist/sexist content is being posted by SJW's. you think /v/niggers ,/v/coontown is legit racists? No, most of these users are SJW's who want to make white people look bad and bring attention to racism and a few dumb ass racists who don't realize they do more harm than good.

No, pretty sure the /v/niggers crowd is legit and the fake racists are in the minority. Most of them would probably get #triggered too hard by the CSS to even vote manipulate there.

I can't recommend this site to my friends.

What did I read somewhere "a hive of scum and villainy" sounds about right.

No judgement, obviously I'm here..many a mod over on the old site saw fit to make me unwelcome.

But the SJW circle jerk is pretty funny, for my part I perceived most of reddit to be center right, never participated in SRS, couldn't understand the language. Their trolling of white guys in attempt to engender empathy towards minorities, by making them legitimately feel persecuted, ostracized, censored and unwelcome seems to have succeeded in the persecuting part, not so much the empahty. Judging by the push back that's represented by /v/all

Check out the difference between the archived copy and the live link. Sangers_baby and I had top tier comments and have since been brigaded all the way down.

It's SRD's #1 thread right now, so anyone who defends voat is getting brigaded.

But at least the reddit admins are working on the technology to prevent that sort of thing. :P

Ah. You noticed too, huh? It's weird how the most negative stories about Voat are from very new accounts, too.

Also, there is currently a spammy seeming post on r/Voat about CP on Voat. Now, I told the guy off and so did my SO. Somehow, he(my SO) was banned from r/Voat though over his comment. He contacted the mods and they haven't responded to him about his ban.

Basically, his post called out the guy's post, got 4 upvotes pretty rapidly, and then disappeared. Considering that the mods of r/Voat are pretty anti Reddit and pro-voat(supposedly), I find the whole thing odd.
