So do we. We can fight them now or we can fight them later. The longer we wait, the less chance free speech wins.

I do agree that people talk about SJW stuff too much, I have noticed a lack of content on otherwise interesting subs. The best thing we can do about this is just post more in a wide variety of subs.

I agree with him. Hate-filled bigots just found a place that had a wider distribution than normal. It's kind of a 50/50 chance of them being replaced and pushed out by normal people, or this place descends into an echo chamber of morons. I haven't really been looking at this place for weeks because of it. The jury is still out on whether it is getting worse or better.

Search for cool subs then. /v/all is not Voat.

I spend 2 hours hitting the random button, lots of cool subs, BUT most of them had no posts for 3 months

/v/all is voat. First impressions are important. We can say it's not about /v/all but fact is people come see the hate speech (that doesnt allow for debate) and think "wow what a closed minded group" and leave. I'd say the majority of us are doing our own thing respectfully, but allowing for subs that don't support freespeech by default to have a spot on /v/ all is some oddly unvoat thing we seem to love. Too many people just don't understand that it's not banning ideas, it's stopping those from being able to supress free of speech.

Hmm, yeah it does. You can go to a certain black-themed subverse right now and post a thread to speak your mind if you want. You will not be banned, your post will not be deleted. Actually, I remember the mods used to sticky up 'dissenting' posts from time to time so as to provide a platform for debate, back when we were on reddit.
You can expect some downvoats but that is about it.

/v/all is voat.

Is this true? I remember Atko made a post maybe 5 months ago stating that if you require any minimum ccp to post in your verse, then none of the posts in that verse would show up in /v/all. That, plus the verses set to private would exclude a great many from /v/all.

plus you can easily block subs that you don't like anyways, so it's easy to avoid anything you don't want to see.

The problem I'm starting to worry about with blocking subs is it means no one is downvoting content that isn't of value to the site and that means for people who come to Voat without an account or who don't subscribe/block specific subverses get a front page of content that has been heavily upvoted by it's niche supporters but received hardly any downvotes from the rest of the Voat community.

Yeah, but I know what CamelBeard means. I see SJW stuff in v/videos comments even when the video has absolutely nothing to do with SJW stuff. Take this one I replied to for example. Video is about poking a peacock in the butt and getting a reaction? Well, that's a clear conversation starter about trigger warnings.
