I believe that all Australian media is becoming like the u.s media (left or right) instead they should do what journalists are supposed to do and just report the facts and let us sought out how to deal with those facts.

This applies to both Fairfax and News corp.

The troop he was leading removed the hand of a dead terrorist to identify him by fingerprint.

But of course terrorists deserve more rights than Australians. /s

I'm confused as to how that was the conclusion you drew from the article.

Ugh. How can any self respecting Liberal read SMH? I can never understand. They pull this garbage so very often.

It sucks that all the free-to-read news sites in this country are left-biased.

The Herald and Age are garbage but the Australian is paywalled. Undoubtedly higher quality though; checking out The Australian's front page right now I see it's filled almost entirely with actual news.

Also, Google "Bolt Blog". Most people have Bolt all wrong, I am not going to launch into a defence here, but simply check out his work for yourself. Think for yourself. Mate, I've read Pravda, I've heard Alan Jones, I've read Mother Jones, It is all about variety. Even stopped clocks get it right. For example, for most issues (barring religion, race and climate change), he seems to be dead on, or at least, provides an alternate view. Most from the left never see this alternate take, and that is why they tend to share views with each other. Again, just do some searching and never dawdle on the same source for too long. You will see your political, social, and economic world-view become more diverse and, therefore, more well thought out.

Absolutely. That being said, I tend to just trawl through any and every news site and source. Seriously, try it out. Also, google news is not bad, provides a variety of sources at a glance.

It is a very low smear against someone who served the country in such a capacity, I have no time for this dirty politics. Good luck to him, if anyone deserves a fat government salary it's probably him.

However, it is understood he was not present at the time of the incident but was rather elsewhere on the battlefield.
