part of the problem for that is ifconfig is not always located in the proper directory. i believe its mostly a fedora issue, but fr whatever reason it has never worked for me on ubuntu or mint either. that's why i disconnect the service directly.

Integrate that with Selenium or PhantomJS for full automation of the process to include the entry of a new random email address and zip.

Selenium and PhantomJS are considerably larger than what is necessary. I get by with a simple autofill extension. Works Wonders.

What distro are you using? I'd love to hear about any issues you have. And trust me, it does work. I've been 'borrowing' from a neighbor for six months now.
