I want to clear up some confusion around the term Ranger. What they accomplished is amazing but earning your ranger tab and completing Ranger School does not make you a member of the Ranger Batallion. The 75th Ranger Regiment and the 3 Ranger Batallions are a specialized infantry unit and is seperate from Ranger School Ranger school is a a leadership course open to any Military Occupational
Specialty but to get in you have to be able to serve in a front line combat role and at this time women still are allowed to serve in direct combat.

Yea, there are regular soldiers who are Ranger certified, but are not apart of any Ranger battalion. I just was impressed with this amazing feat and wanted to share.
I'm with you just wanted to put that out because there is a lot of confusion in alot of the reporting on it. I know lots of guys who haven't made it, those two women deserve much respect.
