A better petition would be to have actual debates. No more of the press asking gotcha questions that reflect their bias. Let the topics be known in advance and then let the candidates argue it out.

At first I think, what, a comedian hosting a debate. But then I think, well why not? Among our cast of Presidential hopefuls we've got a reality TV star, a Botox-ridden failed CEO, a Communist, a criminal, a televangelist, and a guy who's worried about Evildoers on the Internet. He sure can't make it any dumber.

Yeah, lets get a comedian with a clear left-wing bias to "moderate" a debate. Brilliant

Yeah and Rush Limbaugh can do one too I guess.

Talk about terrible ideas.

Good thing online petitions are the equivalent of going outside and yelling at the clouds in the sky.

Another example of people disliking the current political system.

Wanting a comedian to moderate just shows how people don't takes these debates seriously.

If Trump is a legitimate political figure so is Stewart.

Regardless of how funny or smart people think he is, he'd be an atrocious moderator. If he did a DNC debate, he would do nothing but toss softballs. If it was a GOP debate, every single question would be like the one Megyn Kelly asked Trump. Either way, the audience would learn nothing from the experience.
