Underwear daily, shirts daily, trousers five days, socks couple of weeks. And no, they don't smell. Pure wool mostly, pure cotton sometimes, no artificial fabrics. I only wear socks about 8 hours a day, barefoot the rest of the day, barefoot all weekend, and I hang the socks up to breathe when I'm not wearing them.
Changing socks every day? Freaks.

No way. After a long day in steel toe boots, socks come off after boots but before pants. There's no way I would wear completely sweat-logged, boot reeking, cement and sawdust clad socks to bed, let alone to work the next day

You know things like r/randomactsofpizza? We should start v/randomactsofsocks and mail socks to the sockless. :o)

Two days tops, but only if I was not active the day before. After the 2nd day they must be washed.
I had roommates who never washed their socks, and complained that I embarrassed him when I commanded him to wash his feet and put on clean socks. They smelled so bad that a room (20 feet) away I could smell them as soon as he took his shows off. Clean that shit.
