To me Sky Captain was a crappy version of Crimsons Sky's and that game was awesome, just didn't care for the movie. Mad Max is coming out in September but I'm gonna wait on it.

Dude!!! I was watching Let's Plays of Crimson Sky after I commented, while setting up an Xbox emulator. I shit you not, I've been playing it. Weird, lol.
Basically I want modern Crimson Sky with submarine planes and huge ass airplane carrier zeppelins.

Pffftt non you idiots didn't even go for the best and most obvious choice. Die Hard. its the best movie ever made. only stands to reason it would make the best video game ever as well. its got action, adventure, puzzle solving, romance (for the ladies), fucking christmas. you can make it a first or third person shooter/platformer/brawler/stealth action kinda game. hell its even got multiplayer potential. you play Officer John Mclane, and your friend plays Hans Gruber. hell you can even make Sergeant Al Powell playable for little brother or kid.
This game would be perfect. Make it happen someone. Someone not EA though please.

Is that a quote? Because you sound like a character on a show I'd watch. Like, not when it's on, I'd probably wait for it to finish and just torrent and watch it while working on a second screen, but I'd watch it.

There has been a few Die Hard games over the years but nothing like the movie. That movie was awesome.

I don't count Dynamite Deka as a Die Hard game, but there was a Die Hard on Nintendo. It was crap.

Edge of Tomorrow. You're just another soldier in the war, nothing special about you but whenever you die you wake up in the barracks. There are no checkpoints, and the longer you survive the more time you have to figure out various things like why you're not dying, why these certain factions are at war, etc.

I guess the big difference would be you start all the way from the beginning, or at least the beginning of where the gameplay starts, to make dying a more serious thing instead of just "Oops, I died. Oh well, I had a checkpoint like a minute ago, I'll just be a little bit more careful." The only problem then is that you either can't make the game long enough because it has to be continuous or you make separate missions that are a lot longer, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the original idea.

I would love to play a fifth element game. It has action, puzzles, flying cars/space ships. Everything a single player game needs.

I could see that, add those elements and I could see it being a future version of Max Payne.
