you want to be hated by everyone?

that would be like remaking Citizen Kane or Kangaroo Jack.

you can't remake perfection

I have always thought that the Texas chainsaw massacre would be much improved if it were remade as a 19th century costume drama.

I really liked the way they showed space so i might keep them. But the story was rather depressing. I'd change it to be more upbeat. where everyone survives. But will keep the main focus on how earth's gravity shapes the different parts of the journey/movie.

i don't have all the details, but that's the direction i would take it to.

V for Vendetta.

It completely destroyed the main theme of the story, that was about Anarchy; it humanized, and therefore vilified the heroic main character while giving more space to the secondary character; it completely ignored the post WWII London setting changing it into a lame Bush administration parody; and it definitely dumbed it down.

I love the graphic novel. This movie had nothing to do with it.

But let's assume you don't care for the original. How god is it as a movie in itself? It all revolves around the final scene: masks get delivered at people's homes, then they get in the streets in a peaceful demonstration and... they win. I mean, what?

That part was awesome in the graphic novel and yet so cheesy in the movie. Now, if only "talented" directors learned how to make a movie from a story by respecting the story. For example, The Watchmen. Perfect. That's how you do it: religiously.

The Room, since it would be the one of the only movies I would be able to remake without showing my complete lack of talent and knowledge in anything movie related.

1968 Night of the Living Dead, but I would still shoot it in black and white, but I would make Barbara a man. It would be hilarious!

Well you used to really be scared here.

Jenny.

Well you're still afraid.

Stop it now, I mean it.

They're coming to get you, Barry.

Stop it. You're ignorant!

They're coming for you, Barry.

Stop it! You're acting like a child!

They're coming for you. Look, there comes one of them now.

He'll hear you.

Here he comes now. I'm getting out of here.

Jenny!

Any of the spiderman movies. I didn't really enjoy any of them even though spidey is my favorite super hero. I would add a more gothic twist on them, similar to the dark night. Spiders are creepy, crawly, and live in the shadows. Spiderman has a sense of humor, but we need to see a darker side to him than just this http://www.comicbookmovie.com/images/users/uploads/39115/TobeyMaguire.jpg
