It simply depends where you look. Visiting a voat development / idea hub verse will reveal dramatically different content then the ideas that make it to the frontpage, which only do so via being submit to a broad verse that's doesn't specialize in that kind of discussion.

I understand. This is my alt account used specifically for trudging through popular subverses. However, on my other account, my subverses dropped in content specifically because the users no longer wished to be part of a stress inducing place (keep in mind my subverses are not stress inducing). I've spoken with them, and they just left voat in its entirety.
while that is them, and not me, I can't help but wonder...how much hate has permeated?
I feel like it all boils down to whether a person is a talker or doer.
In life, we all meet people who say they're going to do things who eventually back out of them. I don't think it's different here. A lot of people really do have the best intentions with contributing to conversations but are off-put by the complexity / effort that comes up.
If I were you I'd see it like this: people are leaving because actual work is involved
Also - what topic does that sub specialize in? you can be broad, I'm curious

No more, no less one way or the other. It's only what you are choosing to look at right now.

True, or rather what appears in my feed. I suppose I do have to hunt for the good. Just a shame though.
