Indeed that bounce-house-rug-shop-interior-decorator operation is shady. I'm not sure if there was any verified follow-up or in-depth review on any of the initial information as I've been focused on different aspects of the investigation. It may have happened when I wasn't around. If one was done, hopefully whoever did it will be able to pop in and discuss, but I never saw one.

But again, to say they don't exist isn't correct. To say a business is 'fake' or 'doesn't exist' is saying you just slapped a random name onto a paper, which isn't the case here. Sorry to be pedantic, but when you're dealing with corporations & LLCs you have to be to ensure things are clear. Nomenclature is important. Those companies all exist. They're registered with the state with their own state & IRS ID's and probably make financial reports. You may be correct about them being fronts for something, but can't prove that without seeing financials.

(total speculations based on 4-day old memory of things, take with a grain of salt) based on the aerial view of his property, and assuming the warehouse is his, he totally has the capacity to run the rental business. There was one business that tied to a random field, which could be some economic development thing, or he just bought the land using the company as proxy to shield/hold the assets. I mean, there's lots of reasons that could explain his screwiness and far worse shifty stuff we could imply from it ;-)
