These pieces of information don't come out randomly.
Many people are helping our side and have channels to/from Trump's team, being given the go ahead to leak/release info at given times.
It's all carefully planned.
Feel secure.

Dollar to a doughnut Assange was trying to mitigate his part in espionage, provide himself some cover. He admitted to having dead man switches of his own design, as I recall, so the leaker is likely he himself. That call was not long after Bradley Manning was arrested, Assange is allegedly on a recorded phone or text urging Manning to get more data and to let Assange help him.
He knew hillary and company wanted him dead, he was seeking cover with that, diversion. And he probably knew by then he had been used by CIA/Snowden to set his own self up, as it were.
This doesn't help Assange but it does add more weight to hillary's guilt, she being but one Face of the Enemy.
Assange 'could' have cooperated a few years ago and gotten a sweet deal, it's probably way too late now. Had he done so we might have even been able to avoid the upcoming events, tho I doubt it, this seems inevitable. But we may have mitigated it all some, now the collision course is set and it's too late for Assange to be relevant.

Kinda flies in the face of the J"ulian Assange is a rogue hacker hell bent on releasing all state secrets" narrative.
