Just install 7 on the new hardware. You probably won’t like 10. And you’ll need to add about 200 IP addresses to your router’s blocklist (not the hosts file, because Windows ignores that) to stop the telemetry back to MIcrosoft.

how? I check open connections once in a while, also I check the query log on my router that is running dnscrypt. There is nothing suspicious in the dns lookups unless firefox is open.

x86 the instruction set? Or do you mean 32-bit apps? Because the later are all but done and gone.
