Who offers both in exchange for ones free will to consent by believing in the offer? How is it that those who offer information are not first hold accountable before one consents by believing to the offer? How is it that one allows another one to act "in the name of" what one believes?

No, that’s how reason works, not faith. It would probably delegitimization the established church as an institution, but the faithful would figure out how to reconcile it.
