That may be instinctive. Who feeds and waters her the most, and spends the most time doing stuff, ie. playing fetch, with her, more so when she was little? That may be instinctive because she sees you as more her human rather than him, so she's 'blocking' him out in a way.
My brothers dog does this with any girls he brings home. Going so far as pushing one girl on to the floor while she has sleeping.

Now, have you ever seen her holding 'hands' with your husband? That would show friendship or compassion but not necessarily 'blocking' you out, ie. Pushing you away, because you are in her mind her human. I'm only using the term blocking because my brother has numerous dog books and that's what he describes his dog doing.
