That may be instinctive. Who feeds and waters her the most, and spends the most time doing stuff, ie. playing fetch, with her, more so when she was little? That may be instinctive because she sees you as more her human rather than him, so she's 'blocking' him out in a way.
My brothers dog does this with any girls he brings home. Going so far as pushing one girl on to the floor while she has sleeping.
