I’m going to upvote this 1 million times, but first there has been a water main 💦 rupture and I’m going to need you all to leave for about 4 hours while I fix it. Thx

Also:
At Doctor's Office: Please remove the mask you are already wearing (even if it is brand new) and put on our mask - here, in an office full of people.
I didn't know the bad covid air stayed in one place.
Further, if covid is so bad, then why are there no biohazard disposals for used masks?

Amen! That's exactly how I view all this nonsense.
Went into a well known coffee house (I was desperate for caffeine) looking through the window before entering, 15 people spread around all talking and eating in small groups, no masks.
I walk in without a mask, standing a decent distance from the server and her "protective" bit of plastic screen that was 3 foot high, and she screamed at me to put a mask on or she can't serve me.
I look around and point out all the people sitting chatting and eating all maskless and ask her what the difference is?
Server: "Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"
I walk out.

When you discover the rules actually say they don't want you interacting with anyone, ever, then you can see how there are little openings to the real world when there is no logical way to prevent interaction.
The appearance and illusion of safety is what people are demanding. Very few are demanding actual safety, as many others yearn for freedom and liberty above safety.
