If he could just be jailed, like most of us would be.

Unlike The Chump, you showed up when called. Your name went back to the bottom of the pile. He didn't bother to show when called, 5 times.

Aww. Trump do you want a cookie... for doing what you are supposed to do. You should have had an arrest warrant.

9/10 Trump headlines make me laugh out loud. I love it. Hope he doesn't go anywhere anytime soon.

Can't say I blame him lol. I failed to reply to my questionnaire 2 times and the third notice came that they would issue a bench warrant for my arrest if I failed to respond within 7 days for the final notice. Just got a damn Grand Jury Summons to report next week. FML - anyone have any insight for this? It says expect 2 to 3 days per week for 3 or 4 weeks ... that's pretty inconvenient bullshit.

Don't know where you are, but found a lot about it when researching, because I was call for grand jury earlier this year, it depends on the county, so Google grand jury <county name>.
Some places it is one day a week for 2-3 months, some are monthly for 6 and everywhere in between. I did not serve on the grand jury, instead I found out that they pick 60 random people for summoning and 30 who show up are randomly sekected. Learned a lot, got a day off of work and was mostly painless.

Yeah mine said plan 2 to 3 days per week for 3 or 4 weeks. Does this mean I am guaranteed to be serving for that long? When I last was summonsed for regular jury duty (not grand jury) I was placed in a huge room, they called out groups of maybe 20 and then we were questioned by the lawyers from both sides and narrowed down to like 8 or 12. I was called with the first group of 20 and then not picked by lawyers so I was written a dismissal notice and told I was done for at least 6 years. Is this a similar type process in your experience?

I agree that is is an important duty but if you want to get out of it just say you are opposed to convicting anyone because of "institutional racism", "jury nullification", or just say something really racist like, "how did you become a lawyer? You're black". You will be excused.

They'll probably charge me with contempt of court or something with my luck. But seriously I wouldn't have an issue if it was a little more of a streamlined process and not quite as miserable and drawn out for such a long period of time. Also thus far the people I have had to talk to are pretty much on par with those at the DMV so ...
Well given a large part of the US seems to be populated by retards, that grand juries are mostly dog and pony shows, and that lawyers tend to select jurors incapable of forming an independent thought, I don't see me showing up to sit in a basement for three days making much of a difference.

Lol why not they already make all our laws anyway!
I jest I jest ... but seriously I have done regular jury duty in the past and that was not quite as overwhelming and drawn out as this grand jury process seems to be, so I am not saying it isn't an imprtant process, just not a very efficiently run or well managed one is all.

Manhattan County Clerk Milton Tingling agreed to let Trump report Aug. 17 after his lawyers assured him that would be a convenient time.
Ahhhhh, the perks of being the Donald.
(Seriously, can anyone think of a single court case (other than a landlord/tenant dispute) that either side would want him to actually serve?)

Anyone can reschedule when to show.up to jury duty. It's when you make the cut and get put into an actual jury where you live by their rules. Also Donald Trump probably cannot serve in a landlord/tenant dispute case because he knows too much. Jury's like people who don't know much about the subject and can be persuaded into getting a decision the judge wants if necessary.

Just another way to trash Trump, that all it is!
