When I joshwho for voat, it doesn return the actual website, so why?

[–] Anson [S] ago

have to allow a script to get the search going. would be nice if that wasn't required

You think Microsoft won't censor things to suit their street-shitting woke bleeding hearts?

[–] Thisismyvoatusername 0 points 1 point (+1|-0) ago

Of course they would. That doesn't mean they aren't still better than Google. Google sucks ass even completely apart from their leftist bias and censorship. They bias their results so much for commercial reasons, you can never trust your search results even if you just want to find a nearby shoe store or taco stand.

[–] Anson [S] ago

they're less sophisticated and are behind on the agenda that google is running (by default), and so they can't keep up with the faggotry, especially since they don't have the ai to do it

Bing used to be cool but they gradually started adding filters to their searches. I remember being able to type in the name of a movie then clicking on videos and having a pirated copy be the first result. I stopped using Bing entirely when they posted some blm shit early this year. I went back to using lycos.

[–] Anson [S] ago

which search engine are you using now?

[–] seidoken 0 points 1 point (+1|-0) ago

Mostly Lycos but I jump to qwant occasionally.

Bing is also handy for finding animated GIFs, since it has the option to play them automatically in the image section.

[–] Anson [S] 0 points 1 point (+1|-0) ago

I use MetaGer myself. German based, long history of respecting privacy, not diversified into too much else so little incentives to track, old-school interface (which to me is a plus)… like going back in time to the days of Alta Vista and MetaCrawler.

[–] Anson [S] ago

interesting. i'll add it to the list. i would like to support the fatherland

hail!

Bing is still fully NSA-owned.

Searx is good though, yes.

[–] Anson [S] 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
