He never once made it his mission to convert me. He spoke about how badly they were kept in the dark while deployed in Iraq. He came back to the US not trusting his Government. It hit me why they marginalize war heroes when they get back home. They don't want them organizing into a tax payer funded, well trained group of loyal Americans who have seen the the ugly truth. Then it hit me, "Thank GOD they have access to guns". "This is the only defence between them and evil that lurks in DC. It's not by accident the Vets are treated so badly. It's to demoralize them. Once a true Patriot Military leader sounds the alarm, the American tax payers have all the assets they paid for, ready to protect them.

John Candy is pretty awesome. What is your favorite movie of his?
Summer Rental and The Great Outdoors are probably my two favorites. Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is awesome too.

The Great Outdoors is #1. Uncle Buck probably #2. P,T,A, #3. The sad thing is, he would only be in his mid 60's now. Can you imagine all the awesome films we would have if he didn't over work himself and kept his weight down a bit.

Yep, pretty sad. Chris Farley would have given us some more laughs too.
