Congratulations, dude. I too have quit drinking. No question about it, it's an addictive substance and I get a massive rush from just one drink. I'd rather be productive than a drunk.

This is my biggest vice. It’s almost killed me, it’s gotten me in trouble with the cops. And I’ve never even done combat. I heard about the bullshit when I was younger, blessing and a curse.

Good on you man. Some of my best friends are Rino’s. Hope I hit that market at some point.

Am glad to hear stories of redemption like this.

We all fight our demons, regardless of who or why.

I hope things continue to be good for you. Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad to see someone giving the "stop drinking" journey speech who isn't a self righteous fart huffer.

This was a good read man. Congrats on the sobriety.

Recently sober too. Personally, love AA meetings (even liked them when I would go as support to my dad though I was still drinking) as I am more of a deist surrounded by Christian family with many views I can't get behind. It's like a freemason lodge for alcoholics without the jew bullshit.
