Why do Americans need, want, or should even risk injecting a DNA modifying vaccine to "protect" themselves against a Flu that has a 99.98% - 99.50% survival rate?

Check out this NY Times piece.

Hard to believe it even got published.
Talks about how a vaccine only needs to reduce mild cases to be “effective.”
And as you said, what’s the point of preventing a mild disease that you’re getting less scared of every week.

95% effective, or so they claim, at reducing “cases.”
This is the magic trick of coronahoax at play again..... it’s all about the “cases.”
All they have to do is show, most likely just through the same trickery by which they can raise or lower case numbers, that the number of cases is going down.
Not the number of illnesses or deaths. All that vaccine trials have to “prove” is that they can prevent mild forms of the disease.
Which begs the question, why the fuck would we need to prevent a mild form of a disease that none of us knows anyone who has fucking died from anyway. At this point the entire Covid non-threat probably seems pretty “mild” anyway to all but the most devout masktards.
The New York Times even had an opinion piece about this criticism a few weeks ago.

But you don’t hear about this very valid point anymore. It vanished. Now we’re just supposed to be excited for the promising news!

Cool, Bill Gates Fauci, and politicians first.
