If you're buying junk food with EBT, you need to be made to stand on a body impedance scale. Shitlords less than 15% BF and Shitladies less than 20% BF can enjoy! I should run for President!!

"Breathtakingly ableist". I could feel my brain cells dying as I read this page.

It's not enough that we subsidize them. Asking them to eat human food instead of Takis and Arizona is now oppression. I'm so blackpilled

Taught myself to cook in a year once I realized the chances I"ll marry a women that can cook a fucking peanut butter and jelly sandwich in 2020 is nearing infinite zero.

I get tired cooking a full course meal from scratch. I cannot. even. imagine. what that would be like if I were impaired. my goodness.

A "full course meal?" What is that? And how in the world do you get tired making one? I cook dinner every night; the thought of being exhausted by doing so is ridiculous. As @ISBaby says, what kinds of meals are you making? Sure, some nights I'm a little tired by the time I need to start cooking; that's why I have a whole arsenal of fairly quick, easy recipes, in addition to more complex ones like spanakopita (all those layers of filo!) or steak pie. I do a lot of braises and stews that require about a half an hour of work in the afternoon and then just simmer for a few hours. It makes you tired to brown some meat and make a sauce? To throw a couple of potatoes in the oven? Please. Your options are not "junk food" or "coq au vin," (although the latter is actually pretty easy). There are tons of things in between that don't take a lot of time to cook but are perfectly lovely to eat, and pretty healthy, too. You can't just grill or bake a couple of chicken breasts, really, and throw together a salad?

Kevin got his flu shot - did you?

Yep. Are protein bars "healthy"? Debatable. Do they keep me alive when I don't have the energy to cook an equivalent amount of calories? Yes

Oh, for crying out loud, they are not "keep[ing] you alive." You're not going to starve to death from missing one meal, ffs. They might keep your stomach full when you don't have the energy to cook, or they might make you feel better when you're hungry, but come on. That protein bar is not saving your life because you haven't eaten since lunch. They are not the reason you survived the night. This idea that to be hungry at all is the equivalent of starvation is ridiculous, and you are an entitled fat asshole for even suggesting it is. (And I bet this is the same asshole who will happily tell others to "check their privilege," as it suggests that skipping a single meal will kill it.

Last night, I put a chicken breast in the oven, a big salad on my plate, and cooked frozen broccoli in the microwave. It all took 20 minutes and I was SO exhausted. I can't imagine how anyone does this every day.

Wow who would have thought? I love how this bypasses any excuses and fully displays their lazy and poor decisions.

Subsidized nutrition assistance should absolutely only be for “nutrition” you fucking degenerate hog.

The freezer full of frozen vegetables and proteins and tins of beans will “keep you alive” not frozen pizza, soda and snack cakes

Here's a concept. How about we don't have EBT cards and people just buy their own food with their own money? Then they could buy whatever they want without anyone looking over their shoulder or judging them.
