I've used or tried all of the distributions mentioned. I settled on Ubuntu years ago. One thing I saw in the article was the author used the word "amazing" 56 times. Over and over again.

ElementaryOS is good but the 64 bit version is still beta and way behind.
Bodhi Linux has an Elementary based desktop with a lot of the E bugs squashed and is very nice to run.
It is amazing amazing amazing.
