because they don't know how many they need to make to win without going over registered voter counts.

Exactly

[–] Hoppes9 0 points 8 points (+8|-0) ago

In reality they can't exceed the previous record for turnout by very much, or it gets very suspicious.

[–] jc99ta 0 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago

Of course somehow Joe Biden the corrupt, dimwitted, dementia laden, father of a crackhead has record votes.

[–] lanre ago

Unless it's Wisconsin. Then they're about 20% above the average and have 202% more votes than registered voters.

hate to tell you supposedly 100 million people voted....i doubt 1/3 of the american population voted.

case and point last election season only 60 million voted and they said that was roughly a 36% voter turn out

They’ll just claim it was the Russians

Also because seeing mail-in votes lean left would motivate more right-leaning people to go out and vote. And, at the same time, make remaining left voters not bother, due to being confident of having victory in the bag.

Should have just counted but not released the total until the polls close.

[–] Doglegwarrior [S] 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

yes we all know this how jn the fucking world is it allowed to happen. It is pure insanity

[–] DukeofAnarchy 0 points 20 points (+20|-0) ago

So they wouldn't risk underestimating the number of fraudulent ballots they needed like in 2016.

[–] Tretre11 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Yuuuuuup

[–] edgelord666 1 point 1 point (+2|-1) ago

It’s actually because republicans blocked early counting

[–] calcy454 2 points 9 points (+11|-2) ago

couldn't agree more. fucking disgrace that in supposedly the greatest nation on Earth, with all our technological achievements we can't have a legitimate election.

[–] Doglegwarrior [S] 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Exactly what the radio is talking about right now

Waiting for the ink to dry?

[–] thruthseeker 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

At least in Pennsylvania, it all started last year, when state republicans introduced a bill and the democratic governor signed it into law. It's stupid that they can't vote early, but the repubs fought against it and are even suing Montgomery County, alleging that they started counting early. What they actually did was check for errors in the front sheets of the ballots, allowing people to correct them, which is Constitutional.

[–] pieof8 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

The official reason is because counting ballots early will result in leaks, and then potentially sway voters. Seems more like a problem with horrible govt workers than anything else.

[–] 17761993 0 points 1 point (+1|-0) ago

Once they count the in person ballots, they would have a list of people who have registered but did not vote. They can submit mail in for those.

[–] TheSeer 0 points 1 point (+1|-0) ago

FRAUD, that's why.
