It's probably easier to let god decide what he thinks is decent. He could stop anything he wanted in a blink, yet it will still exist tomorrow.

Love covers a multitude of sins! I thus am able to love the person(s) and yet condone the act. God himself is responsible for any person who chooses this lifestyle.... not me. My responsibility is to love them. WWG1WGA has given me a lot to think upon these long months. My eyes have been opened to this, I’m a registered nurse and obviously ‘love’ others otherwise I wouldn’t have chosen my profession. Using the WWG1WGA as a yardstick, I can now see I have fallen so very far from loving others. My life has changed, and I hope it keeps changing in this area.

I believe one of the greatest our wonderful President has given us is this; He has shown us a Very Clear picture of what loving others looks like. Yes, I’m a Christian... bible believing. But maybe we as Christians haven’t given as much weight to the other side of the equation. I started reading passages pertains to Love. Wow.

So now, as I see these issues, I picture in my mind old fashioned scales. One side has the Love. The other side has gay, thief, etc. your choice. Every time I look at it, I always see the side with Love weighed down lower than the other side. I actually was shocked to see that my Christian walk is to love others as myself and the Great A Am is in control of the rest. It helped me a lot as I also researched some of Nicola Tesla’s work...lave a lone way to go with this I might add. A glimpse into the world of magnetism is helping my understanding.

I honestly try to go about with what I call “smiling eyes”. Something I gleaned from horse training.

I have come long way with this issue. I don't accept "marriage" between same sex people as normal. However, I am more acceptable of a civil union where each commits to the other and has certain rights. I know several people who are LGBTQ, one is my niece. The people I know are great people and are fun to be around. They don't push their sexual relationship upon anyone, and that seems to make it a bet easier to accept. Most just want to live their lives like everyone else and enjoy life. At least the individuals I know don't flaunt their lifestyle in our faces.

there have been gay people since the beginning of time...I really don't care what two consenting adults do in their bedroom....Don't forget WWG1WGA....every American is included....You don't have to approve...you are allowed to have your religious beliefs..that's what freedom is!...Rick Grenell is gay and a Patriot!!

there is a lot going on (or more correctly - not going on) for optics reasons

at the end of the voting day of Nov 3rd, there will be no more need of concern about any optics

Potus is respecting them as humans and treating them as the US Citizens they are.. No different than you or I

That is what i find most amazing about POTUS he isn't a respecter of persons.. May God bless him and keep him and his family

I have no problem with this as long as they don't violently rub my face in it before shoving it down my throat. People are free to do as they will and personally I doubt god has a problem with this as long as love is honest and pure. Just because I don't like it and very strongly disapprove of them using the word marriage for same sex unions doesn't make it wrong or evil.

Yes and it’s not gay marriage in and of itself that is the problem. It’s the attack on the traditional family (a man and a woman).

The traditional family has been under attack by the Dems, media and pop culture for the last 30 years.

Yep. Evil uses this to attack those it hate even though this in itself isn't bad.

Actually, the Bible is not ambiguous at all about that which God hates/considers sin. His standards on what is right or wrong are not to be confused with what mankind considers as being OK.

Rom 1:18-32: "18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks; but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,

23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them.

25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural,

27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.

28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper,

29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; [they are] gossips,

30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,

31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful;

32 and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them."
