It was like the Hebrews fleeing Egypt with all their looted possessions.

I was in Paris back in 1989 and it was all fucked even back then.

I recall getting back home to America and weathering all the questions from friends and family: "What is France like? What is Paris like? Is it beautiful?"

Any my first answer was always the same: "Well, apparently to be Parisian, you have to be black."

In 1989, I was astounded by the number of black people in Paris. It blew me away. And I grew up in San Francisco, which, while not exactly Detroit, isn't North Dakota either. The French have been fucking themselves over with immigration for many many years and without a very bloody revolution, it seems nothing will change.

This just looks like regular traffic in many American cities.

Politicians never cease to amaze me with shitty ideas: " it would seem that we are experiencing a viral outbreak in the city. Let's lock it down, knowing that everyone is going to mass exodus, thereby accelerating the spread of the virus."

If this disease were actually deadly, these policies would be kiling people.

makes sense, why would you want to be locked down in a hell-hole city?

The french revolution is dead. Paris has fallen. So much for viva le france.
