Start a company.

Even if you don't follow through with it. Go through all the steps for filling the company, write the mission statements, fill out the members paperwork, look into tax laws for single member llc. Look into what it would take to switch to an llc with employees. Check tax laws, benefits, etc.

Think about the money you would need to make to hire someone else at a salary you feel is livable.

Now picture that employee you hired slacking off for even one minute or feeling like they don't appreciate the job you made for them.

Is that who you want to be or do you want to be valued by your employer?

boomers had the easiest run of any generation in history... that's why we're facing hard times, because good times created weak boomers.

we've received the shit end of the cycle.

Jesus, whats with the reddit level "boooomah" patheticness on here.

Fukkin boomahs, fukkin boomahs, fukkin boomahs. its not candyman, saying it over and over isnt going to do anything.

You do realize actual output means nothing when you work for a company? Its all about the show you put on, why do you think managers who seem to know nothing get promoted? Because they put on a good show, they know how to talk to employees and customers, they know who to be nice to, they believe their own bullshit enough to sell it to others, and they know how to stand up for themselves.

And guess what, some jobs are dead end. You may have to change companies to get promoted or a raise or find a new career. Companies dont have infinite growth and youre not the only asshole trying to get ahead.

What kine of phone do you have? cable? video games? subscription services? do you cook? how often do you eat out? junk food? can you fix shit? do you waste money on retarded shit like sneakers? do you live with family? drink alcohol? weed?

learn the difference between wants and needs. make sacrififes, go without. learn to be a jew. you dont have to eat babies, just be as cheap as possible. live below your means, learn how to interact with people (especially those you dont like), stop jerking off, stop crying lifes not fair cuz its never going to be, and do what it takes to get ahead. All youre doing now is feeling sorry for yourself. In 50 years some retard will be bitching about how easy gen x or y or z had it with limitless supplies of cheap food/water and ammo and not living 30 people in a 1 bedroom shack and how space niggers are everywhere.

get over it and do better

No shit. It is a partnership between you and your superiors. You owe them nothing, and vice versa. People that fuck up tend to believe the opposite and then after 40 years later they have become bitter while thinking that the people they slaved over owe them something. That is not how it works in the world.

Took me a couple years but I realized that too.

Finally just said fuck it and started up my own business

Now the money I make is directly related to how hard I work

The corporation has failed to adequately structure your workplace to promote proper motivation in their workforce. They probably lack the professional skill to do so. This a common problem that exists in many workplaces, and sometimes it is accidental, while at other times it is quite intentional. The fact is, depending on the nature and value of the work you do, a cost benefit analysis applies to investment into improving worker motivation. Simply put, some workers are not worth investing in. Others very much are.
