"Lol you're just a lazy retard! Just drop out of highschool and get some menial job that pays enough to buy a house, two cars, raise three kids, put in a swimming pool, and go on one or two vacations a year, like I did! Oh yeah, also make sure you get that job right during a generational job boom so you get slotted into the easiest and best seniority positions right out of the gate, leaving the next gen scrambling for your table scraps for decades."

Boomers think being payed $3.75 at age 17 while rent was 50% cheaper in 1976 was a tough life because they don’t know what inflation is and think big number good small number bad! It was easy as fuck, end of story. Look at all the complete retards on here that own property while having 2 SDs lower IQ than you do. Easy. As. Fuck.

For real. The boomers at my workplace got hired a couple decades ago, and immediately got slotted into high paying full time jobs. Sure, admittedly some of the management practices back then were pretty hardcore, there was a lot more hazing and fighting that got overlooked. But meh, whatever, they got paid really good money and benefits. They all bought houses and raised families, and right now they're all top seniority, so they make way more money than low seniority/part time workers, and they also have dibs on the EASIEST positions. Some of these guys literally do zero work.
Well, because of the lockdowns and layoffs, some of these high seniority boomers actually had to pick up some slack and do REAL work for the first time in decades....and they're all fucking crying and throwing tantrums. One guy even was close to getting in a fist fight with the manager because of some "extra work" (read: actual work) added to his task list.
How about people my age or younger? Started part time getting paid significantly less, expected to be trained on and able to do a wide variety of positions and take on massive responsibility (to cover full time positions when people are off/call in sick), NO benefits, low seniority. Some of us have been with the company for FIVE YEARS and still can't be guaranteed more than 20-30 hours per week, still have no benefits, and still make 4-5 dollars per hour less than full timers doing the same work (how's that for your pay gap?).
This isn't just me and my job, this is pretty standard across most low-mid level industries. The only millenials/gen Z making decent money right now are in trades or high end STEM. Anyone who went to lib arts-tier post secondary or went into low skill work is absolutely fucked beyond belief.

I did the math.
A waitress earning $3.75/HR would be earning about $200/HR in today's wages.
Yup.

They have ways of tapping your potential for profit that you have not figured out on your own. Figure it out so you can stop whining like a bitch about how you deserve better. Just prove it by getting it. I know what you're talking about. Corporations only care as much as you can affect their bottom line. Just tell your boss you have a curiosity. Then ask if they'd be willing to match an offer for the pay you are wanting at an equivalent position for a local competitor. If they avoid answering the question at all, just say, "I think I understand what you're telling me." And then end the conversation there. Keep them on the fence unless there is a benefit to your dedication.

Great advice. By the way, can you lend @nougat_hater 6 gorillian shekels so he can get the necessary equipment/land/livestock/buildings/etc,/etc/etc?

Lol. If you think you're going to be happy or rich by becoming a farmer.... I have bad news for you.
[–] DanaNordic 0 points 2 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago
It's not about becoming rich. That's how you get sucked into the corruption. It's about not feeding into the corruption.

If you accept a job, you should do it to the best of your abilities. If nothing else, to show that you are self motivated. I don't like the company I work for, but I still bust my ass. I don't do it so much for them, or at least that's my inner dialogue, I do it for me. The idea is to eventually get a job where at least you get a fair wage for your hard work (you'll still hate the company, but it's all about paying the bills). Even shit jobs that paid shit money that I worked during the oblama years, I worked hard and took whatever upgrade or promotion that was offered (even if it didn't pay more, I would do it for the new job title -- which separates me further from the "schmucks" as I am fond of calling unmotivated people). I enjoyed showing up the assholes who thought they would get a promotion just because they "have been there longer". Work hard for yourself and for your future employment. The company you are working for is merely the current provider of income.

You’re literally the perfect goy. Hand crafted to be a fucking jew pet.
[–] Reverse-Flash ago
And you're a schmuck.
[–] bb22 0 points 6 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago
If you are that self motivated to bust your own ass then why haven’t you started your own business yet? That’s exactly the type who do well and you may get paid more.

At least where I live its not worth it to start a small business. Heard this from a previous small business owner. You basically slave away paying government fees.
