I signed up for a Intercept trial 4-5 years ago and it was already telling then, what kind of bedfellows he was dealing with. Obviously did not renew.
His first mistake was bringing on journalists with no integrity.
I've made that same mistake before.

You hire journalists?

People with no integrity. There are ways to interview to detect that.

This is welcome but overdue. Greenwald's continued presence was giving the organization a veneer of integrity which it ceased to deserve years ago.

That resignation letter makes it obvious that he should have left years ago.
I value Greenwald highly, he has principles that he stands for and he went through hell for it. What a disgrace that some liberal partisan (((journalists))) control the intercept and hide behind his name.
Reading theintercept today is like browsing cnn or buzzfeed.

Here the statement from the liberals who took over the intercept:
https://theintercept.com/2020/10/29/glenn-greenwald-resigns-the-intercept/
The narrative Glenn presents about his departure is teeming with distortions and inaccuracies — all of them designed to make him appear as a victim, rather than a grown person throwing a tantrum. It would take too long to point them all out here, but we intend to correct the record in time.

Glenn Greenwald has always been one of very few names on the very short list of lefty jewish journalists that I have some respect for. It's an extremely short list considering how common lefty jewish journalists are.

A Journo with Integrity, that's Old School stuff for you.
