The amount of vitamin D they are talking about is "potentially hazardous"

Staying in the sun for a couple hours a day is like a hundred international units averaged out per day(gross simplification) the amount we are talking about as a single dose for COVID19 is 10,000 IU, this is the amount given to people with severe vitamin D deficiency and taking that amount once a week for a few months is typically the prescription but it does damage your organs marginally.

So I encourage retards to take 10,000 IU every day as a prophylactic, you'll need a new liver in a few months and hopefully the average IQ goes up.

For everyone else with some sense ask a doctor or start doing skeptical research into how best to dose yourself with supplements so as not to be counterproductive.

My advice would be prophylactic use of 1,000 IU on days you shop for groceries, or do errands in town. Get natural sunlight on warm days for at least 30 minutes but not more than 2 hours, do not take a calcium supplement with prophylactic doses of D it will be more readily absorbed with the calcium into your bones preventing it from going elsewhere as easily, take vitamins C and A as a part of this prophylactic dose, you don't need a high dose, A can cause long term problems with over dosing, C will just make you piss more if you over do it. Take a regular fish oil supplement every couple of days to bost your D supply, eat more garlic and onions(sulfur in them is good for respiratory health) and eat spicier food more often, it will boost your immune system and metabolism. And unless you are in great shape already adding a 30 minute walk in the evening or at sunset to your day will always be good for you so long as your aren't walking in a harsh cold or the rain.

Wearing a mask will reduce viral load if you are exposed so if you are at risk it is certainly a good idea, new research says oral antiseptic mouth rinses kill the virus(should have been obvious) the conclusions are two fold, as a prophylactic measure use mouthwash when you get home from being out and gargle thoroughly, as a secondary prophylactic what I call a redneck prophylactic is quite likely to be effective, increase your blood alcohol levels, drink beer, wine, and I personally recommend a dark whisky(for it's tannin content) I suspect your best mixed drink would be gin and tonic as the tonic seems to speed alcohol delivery to the blood and the quinine in it may have prophylactic effects as well. Drinking to the point of a hangover is not the point we just want to mitigate the virus ability to travel unimpeded through your blood before you develop antibodies, a shot of whisky is great for mild or minor respiratory troubles as well.

Take your supplements in the morning with breakfast because they don't mix so well with alcohol.

you sound like a good holistic/integrative MD. but even with those MDs, still do your own research. a lot of them recommend too-high doses of D and A. and thanks for the reminder about mouthwash. gonna be making my own.
