That's the most accurate cartoon I've seen in awhile

Ironically I am always on Voat with my phone.

I hope there will be a big swing AWAY from smart phones for many people although I am not sure how I see it coming about. Oddly it won't come from older folks (all my "aunties" probably use social media more than many young kids). Maybe the zoomers will protest and cut themselves off from the tech

Won't happen, since the stuff people have installed on their smartphones is addicting to them. Remember sitcoms from the last century and the little girls being on the phone for hours racking up a bill? The bill is gone and the phone lost its wire. A new generation will fall for it for the exact same reasons. The Apps may change, but what they do - allowing communication with your friends - will not.

I agree. The bottom line is that it requires parents to remove tech/media from the home (or severely limit use and be able to be disciplined themselves) and pass that on. It isn't as hard as all the faggots addicted to it pretend it is

I think people who grow up with the technology will understand how harmful it can be and when they have their own kids they will control it properly.

I'm not seeing it. What age would those kids be? Are we talking kids born say; after 2012 or something? You may be right but where are they going to learn NOT to use it if their parents are hooked and they are in public schools (using more and more tech every day)

What the fuck are the trees in the background then?
[–] ChickenYiddle 0 points 5 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago
Very selective Money trees. That are being perfectly maintained by the (((groundskeepers))).

This image always reminds me of the Genesis song "I know what i like" from the album "selling England by the pound".
Which depending on how you read into it, is a brilliant companion to this image.
