OP here: Hunter is so wasted all the time trying to forget being passed around to his father's friends and being molested as a child. Now he has to be Daddy's bagman and give 50% of his corruption "income" to Pop. Maybe he has reached his limit and doesn't want to be a part of this evilness any more. He knows what his father is and now he is willing to expose it even if it hurts him too. I don't know but something is going on here. No one "forgets" their laptop at the computer repair store when they know it has stuff on it that would convict them of serious crimes. NO ONE.

Think how disturbed Hunter is and how much he’d have to hate his Father to leave incriminating evidence against himself for the world to see. Most people would do anything to hide their mistakes which why bribery works. This guy was either wasted out of his mind to leave (he signed off that the store had it) the laptop there and never respond to the messages to pick it up OR said I’m burning this whole family down no matter what. I don’t know anyone like that.

Thought this right away with all the moving parts to the story. So many facets and timing to the story that can be corroborated to be naturally organic. How can evidence be legally "introduced" into a court of law? What's the probability that the chain of custody of the laptop happened in the fashion and in the time that it did? He's flipped. His options were limited, it's his redemption option. He's free of Pop.
